Section 1: Student Information

Tell Us More About You!

At SF Achieve, we know that grades and transcripts only tell a small part of your story. We want to learn more about your strengths, talents, experiences, contributions and qualities that make you a great candidate for the Summer Bridge Program.

Please submit at least two additional items that help us better understand who you are and what you would bring to the SF Achieve community.

Examples may include:

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, coach, mentor or community leader (letters must include the recommender's name, title/relationship to you, and contact information)
  • A short video (2-5 minutes) introducing yourself
  • A personal essay or written reflection
  • Photos of projects, artwork, volunteer activities, work experiences or accomplishments
  • Certificates, awards or recognition you've received
  • Examples of leadership, community involvement, advocacy or service
  • Any other materials that showcase your skills, interests, abilities, character or personal growth
Consider your submission with this prompt in mind:
Why do you believe you would be a great candidate for the SF Achieve Summer Bridge Program? How would your unique experiences, strengths, interests and goals contribute to the program and the SF Achieve community?

Please note: There is no 'right' way to complete this section. We value diverse experiences and encourage you to share materials that best represent who you are. Our goal is to get to know you beyond the application and learn what makes you uniquely you.
